The Scientists Dating Forum (SciDF) would like to invite you to join our second SciDF@Bars event to date and debate:
Scientists! Who said business is none of your business?
Entrepreneurship and sciences are in everyone’s policy agenda but as researchers, scientists or entrepreneurs our vision and reality are often different.
With the venue of speakers from the world of tech transfer, investment and entrepreneurship, SciDF@bars event aims to propose an interactive debate to answer key questions and help scientists that want to bring ideas to the market.
- Esther Real (Vicerector Knowledge Transfer at UPC)
- Inma Valle (CEO Metabostem and had worked as Investment Manager at Caixa Capital Risc)
- Giacomo De Simone (Investment Analist at Caixa Capital Risc)
- Dr Llorenç Coll (CEO Aniling)
Around the table, questions will be discussed such as:
- What is needed to push my project forward?
- Who can support it?
- How to get funded?
- What is the role of tech transfer agencies? When should I contact them?
- How to approach investors?
The discussion will be moderated by Mireia Bosch and Martí Jimenez, organizers of the incoming IV Congreso Nacional de Científicos Emprendedores at Barcelona (2017).
